A little later than planned, but here's a round up of our teams weekend fixtures!
U7 visited Ruskington Reds, the young stars showing their passing skills and scoring some brilliant goals! Harry S, Arthur, Finley & Logan all grabbing goals! Logan was voted MOM
U8 hosted Greenbank, the team picked up where they left off and played some amazing football that left coach Simon very proud! Goals from Tommy Burns x4, Archie Castel, Freddie Johnson & James Casey. Tommy was voted MOM
U10 visited Alford Town, despite the rain the team played some fantastic football and worked super hard! Goals from Arthur Brader x2, Ollie Robinson x2 Hugo Hoyes, William Tucker & a beauty from Isaac Veasey, his first for the team!
U12 visited Sleaford and continue their brilliant winning streak! Coming away 1-0 winners!
U13 hosted a strong Nettleham side and unfortunately fell to a 7-1 defeat. Despite the scoreline coach Will was proud of his teams battle and determination. Goal from George Cottam, MOM was split 3-way between Archie Pobjoy, Harry Kee & Freddie Horstwood
U14 hosted Hykeham Tigers, the team picked up the win after being 2-0 down at halftime. A superb team talk got them fired up and battled hard for the win! Goals from Hayden Risdale x2 & Ollie Broomhead. Josh Patrick was voted MOM
U15 Reds visited Horncastle Town in their cup game and also our game of the weeknd!! At full time the game was 2-2, Ethan Shaw with both goals, extra time couldn’t separate the sides so penalties it was!! Ollie Hall was the hero saving 3 penalties to send Spa through!
U15 Blacks fell to a 8-1 loss from A league side Welton Bombers. The team gave a good account of themselves and battled all the way through! Josh Brett with the goal for Spa.
Ladies were also in action as they faced Spalding United. Unfortunately the away side were too strong on the day and proceed to the next round. Holly Newman scored from the spot. Lots of positives to take, keep working hard!
Men’s had a tough trip to Wyberton A. Once again a different 11 was available and Wyberton showed their strength winning 5-0 and moving on to the next round!
